First Run of the FIA Week!

I Just received word that the BB2 just made a run at the following speeds:

Entry Speed: 293 mph (472 kph)
Flying kilometer Speed: 298.898 mph (481.030 kph)
Flying Mile Speed: 298.776 mph (480.833 kph)
Exit Speed 303.574 mph (488.554 kph)

The team is gearing refueling, checking the vehicle, and preparing for a return run (which must be made within an hour of the first run).

More details will follow as I get them.

(3:12pm): The car has been turned around, and is being transported to the zero mile marker for the return run

(3:16pm): Pushing off.

(3:18pm):  Return Run Speeds are in:

Entry Speed: 296 mph (476 kph)
Flying Kilometer Speed: 301 mph (484 kph)
Flying Mile Speed: 300.992 mph (484.400 kph)
Exit Speed: 304 mph (489 kph)

(3:24pm): And the Two-mile average speeds are:
Mile: 299.900 mph (482.642 kph) (Record is 132.129 mph)
Kilometer: 300.992 mph (484.400 kph) (Record is 132.378 mph)

(Note: These are unofficial speeds, and do not qualify as records the vehicle and speeds have been verified by the record sanctioning body.  As such, any record is subject to FIA (or ASN) recognition before it may be recognized as an official record.)
