Chassis Progress

Today we got the center sections on the chassis back. The driver cell and both front and rear battery bays. We had outgrown our welding room so we needed to move back into the shop before finishing the driveline sections. Things are happening quick so check back often.

Hey guys, what are you using the old Lightning batteries for in that last picture ?

That's just to power the scissor lift that is lifing the driver cell into place.

The lighter-the faster! You must throw out the batteries which are already used (like a rocket). You must use "mother missile". Accelerate to 150mph-throw out batteries, became lighter-accelerate farther.
